The actuating member of a biased-off switch is to be located within direct sight of the driven part, but away from moving parts. It is to be installed at a minimum height of 1.5m. Danger! Strong spring when opens. DO NOT remove this rope unless you have finished all of the assembly steps with all bolts are fastened and the item is attached to the wall! Warning! Take care when loosening the arms, because they are under tension! A sudden release of the arm of a folding arm awning can cause injury.
