This black Onyx garden barbecue with wood storage from RedFire is a great fire pit with barbecue gill function. It has a functional wood storage to ensure that your firewood is easily stored and is within reach for your cosy evenings in the garden.

The fire pit is made of sustainable materials and available in a black heat resistant finish. It emits warmth within a wide radius so you can enjoy the outdoors even during chilly evenings. It is sturdy enough to store large blocks of wood. The 60 cm diameter provides enough space to stoke the flames high. When you first start using your Onyx grill barbecue, make sure the fire is lit and allow it to burn for at least 30 to 40 minutes for the upper plate to reach the right cooking temperature. Of course, the highest temperature is in the middle of the ring. Make sure you add vegetable oil like olive or sunflower oil on the spot where you want to cook your meat, fish or veggies. The key to maintaining your Onyx barbecue is oil. The stainless steel plancha ring is easy to clean and does not require a lot of maintenance. Just use a spatula to scrape away the food scraps and leftover oil. Then use a little olive or other vegetable oil once the plate cools down and grease it thoroughly with a cloth to protect it from outside influences. This way, you avoid rust and keep a nice protective layer so that you can enjoy your barbecue again at the next grill event. In case of corrosion, when the plate is not in use for a longer period, you can use steel wool to remove it and then add oil again.
