Thanks to the solid construction, these pliers are very hard wearing. The carbon steel blades and alloy steel jaws have been hardened and tempered. The plastic handle is lightweight. The strippers can cut insulated wires within a range of 0.13-8 mm²/8-26 AWG, while the crimpers works on both insulated and non-insulated terminals with a range of 0.5-6 mm²/10-22 AWG.
